How is the monthly rent calculated in the UK?

 

Most of the properties in the UK are listed by weekly rent as well as monthly but to make sure that we avoid confusions we have to clarify something:

 

Monthly pay should not be calculated as 1 month = 4 weeks but as:

weekly rent x 52 weeks/per year = rent per annum / 12 months = monthly rent

 

Example: Weekly rent £138 for single room ID E50BQ02

£138 x 52 weeks = £7176 /12 months = £598 per month (£595 our price)

 

So, either we calculate on a monthly or weekly basis the amount of money you pay is the same.
